When determining if this crankset is the right product for your model, it's essential to note that it is a square-hole-shaped crankset, requiring a square-tapered bottom bracket. Additionally, the 170mm size of the crankset can be adjusted according to personal preference.

Adjusting the chain alignment is a straightforward process. The chainring mounting area has two sides, allowing you to move the chainring by about 10mm by placing it on either side. It's important not to use washers between the crank and the ring, as there are no chainring bolts long enough.

Orienting the chainring on the crank arm is a simple task. One crank arm attaches to the chainring and then to the bottom bracket's square taper bolt, while the other crank arm attaches directly to the bottom bracket's square taper bolt on the other side, with one arm pointing up and the other pointing down, in opposite directions.

To secure the arms to the square taper bottom bracket, the process depends on the application. If it's a new bottom bracket, it will come with crank bolts, or if you're replacing an existing crankset, you can reuse the old crank bolts.

The BUCKLOS YN Square Taper Crankset package includes a left crank arm, a right crank arm, and a chainring with 4 chainring bolts, but it does not include the bottom bracket or caps. If you need these additional components, you'll need to order them separately.
